Gillie Gautreau, 46, of Pré-d'en-Haut died Tuesday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness.
 Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was a son of the late Edgar and Aurélia (Boudreau) Gautreau. Employed with Canadian National Railways, he attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut.
He is survived by his wife, the former Béatrice LeBlanc; one daughter, Mrs. Rachel Gautreau at home; two sisters, Mrs. Norbert Poirier (Jeannette) of St. Joseph and Mrs. Ludger LeBlanc (Mélina) of Dover; four brothers, Antoine of St. Joseph, Henri of Pré-d'en-Haut, Gerald of St. Anselme and Allain of Dalhousie; several nieces and nephews.
The body will be at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook; Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
